WINNERS OF THE ESCL EXCELENCE AWARD FOR COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH
On September 17, 2021, the European Society for Comparative Literature held a virtual
round table to honor the finalists and DECLARE THE WINNERS of the ESCL
EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH contest. This first
installment of the ESCL award attracted nineteen collaborative submissions of high quality
from all over the world. The winning volume,
Great Immortality: Studies on European Cultural Sainthood,
published in 2019 by Brill (Leiden & Boston), was co-edited by
Marijan Dović, a Senior Research Fellow at the Research Center of Slovene Academy of
Sciences and Arts, and Jón Karl Helgason, Professor of Icelandic and Comparative Studies
at the University of Iceland.

LES LAUREATS DU PRIX D’EXCELLENCE DE LA SELC POUR LA
COOPÉRATION DANS LE DOMAINE DES ÉTUDES LITTÉRAIRES COMPARÉES
Le 17 septembre 2021, la Société Européenne de Littérature Comparée tenait une table ronde
virtuelle pour honorer les finalistes et DÉCLARER LES LAURÉATS du premier concours
de la SELC pour LA COOPÉRATION DANS LE DOMAINE DES ÉTUDES
LITTÉRAIRES COMPARÉES. Les dix-neuf volumes collaboratifs soumis pour évaluation,
de très grande qualité, venaient de plusieurs pays et continents. Le recueil gagnant,
Great Immortality: Studies on European Cultural Sainthood,
publié en 2019 par les éditions Brill (Leiden & Boston), a été co-dirigé par
Marijan Dović, Chercheur Senior au Centre de Recherche de l’Académie des Sciences et des
Arts de Slovénie, et Jón Karl Helgason, Professeur d’études islandaises et comparatives à
l’Université d’Islande.
