On March 22, 2022, during the celebrations of the international Francophone week, the University of Primorsko in Koper, Slovenia, confered the title of the FRANCOPHONE PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR to METKA ZUPANČIČ, PhD, Professor Emerita, the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Prof. Zupančič, who is also a member of the Executive Committee of the ESCL, currently serves as a guest professor in the French program of the University.

Le 22 mars 2022, durant les célébrations de la Semaine internationale de la francophonie, l’Université de Primorsko, Koper, Slovénie, conféra le titre de PERSONNALITÉ FRANCOPHONE DE L’ANNÉE à METKA ZUPANČIČ, Professeure Émérite de l’Université d’Alabama à Tuscaloosa. Prof. Zupančič, qui est aussi membre du Comité Exécutif de la SELC, est présentement professeure invitée dans le programme du français, de l’Université de Primorsko.
